Roster Shuffle:

Derek Jeter had to leave the game in the 9th
inning after being hit on the wrist by a pitch.
He's expected to play tomorrow.

Matt Holliday sat out with minor back pain.
He's day to day.

Hanley Ramirez is expected to sit out today
with a sore shoulder. Be safe and check the box.

Carlos Guillen has been shut down for the
season.

Jay Bruce left after being struck on the wrist
by a Sabathia fastball. X-rays were negative.
He may sit a game or 2 so adjust if necessary.

B.J. Upton sat yesterday with a sore quad
but should play today. Check the Rays box
before starting him to assure that he's active.

J. D. Drew still has back spasms and is likely
to miss several more games.

Ben Sheets will be skipped on Tuesday but
is holding out hope that he can take at least
one more turn this season.

David Price may make his 1st major league
start on Tuesday vs. the Orioles. Stay tuned.

Strategy: PE dropped stream SP Gallagher for
RP David Price who hopefully will start the 2nd
game of Tuesday's double header vs the Orioles.
Price's RP designation will force PE to sit a closer
as SP's Harden/Weaver are active that day. PE
is looking for W's and K's from this week's streams.

Game Keys: PE SP's Young/Acevas and 4 closers
combined to throw 17 innings allowing 3 runs on 23
whip with 14 k's while earning a W and 2 Saves. OP
SP's Sabathia/Kuroda & 3 closers tossed 12.2 frames
yielding 4 runs on 20 whip with 14 k's while earning
3 Saves to tie the point. PE offense limped along going
9/36 with 5 runs, 1 homer, 3 rbi and 2 stolen bases.
OP hitters were worse going 6/35 with 3 runs & 3 rbi.
PE continues to control Runs and forged slight leads in
SB/BA. PE holds a 7-2 lead in the championship round
with all categories except RBI (OP) in play.


Final Thoughts:

PE has won the league and enters the league championship.

The Player's Edge participates in many leagues but elected to
follow a team in a Public League to better approximate what might
be faced by a wide majority of players that use the Edge daily.
This team plays in a standard 5x5 scoring format and drafted 7th
of 12 teams in a 21 round on-line live event in late March. We will
follow this team throughout the entire 2008 fantasy campaign.
