Chris Young has been penciled in to start on
Monday vs. the Dodgers.

Mad Max Scherzer has been recalled by the
D-Backs and will work out of the bullpen as a
set up reliever.

Clayton Kershaw has been sent down but could
be recalled as soon as Tuesday for another start
against the Padres.

Brian Fuentes was activated by the Rockies
last night from the bereavement list. He pitched
a scoreless inning and will remain the closer for
the rest of the season.

with a strained pectoral muscle. The severity of
the injury is not yet known.

the Rays with a strained left hamstring.

Travis Hafner has resumed his shoulder rehab
at Triple A Buffalo going 1/3 as the DH.

Victor Martinez was activated yesterday and
was in the Indians starting lineup going 1/3.

Evan Longoria played catch without wrist pain
and may be activated on Tuesday if BP goes well.

Justin Upton was activated yesterday and had
a pinch hit.

Josh Anderson has taken over the CF job for
the Braves. He had 41 steals in the minors before

Final Thoughts
:

PE increased the 1st place lead to 16 points over the 2nd place
club and 19 ahead of the 3rd place team heading into Week 22.
PE has won the league and earned a 1st round bye in the playoffs.

The Player's Edge participates in many leagues but elected to
follow a team in a Public League to better approximate what might
be faced by a wide majority of players that use the Edge daily.
This team plays in a standard 5x5 scoring format and drafted 7th
of 12 teams in a 21 round on-line live event in late March. We will
follow this team throughout the entire 2008 fantasy campaign.
