2008 Fantasy Football Player's Edge (regular season):

http://fantasyfootballplayersedge.blogspot.com

Roster Shuffle:

Rick Ankiel's
abdomen strain is not getting any
worse but he's been awful since the injury and
is better served on someone else's roster.

Rafael Furcal could be activated next week.
If he's a free agent you might want to pick him
up if you need SS help. Be aware, though, that
he will not play everyday.

Evan Longoria felt no pain swinging a bat and
may take BP on Monday. He was activated but
will likely return to the Rays lineup on Tuesday
after taking a few days to regain his stroke.

Mike Cameron was scratched last night with
a sore knee.

Milton Bradley sat out last night with a sore
knee.

Ty Wigginton was forced out of the contest
against the Rockies with a strained groin. He
could be out for a week.

Randy Johnson was scratched due to a sore
left shoulder. Mad Max Scherzer will get the
start today.

Anthony Reyes will miss his next start with a
strained elbow.

Kevin Gregg has been receiving high intensity
ultra sound on his left knee trying to return to
action this season. Matt Lindstrom will likely
close for the Marlins in his absence.

Billy Wagner had a good bullpen session and
should be activated on Tuesday.

Final Thoughts
:

PE has won the league and earned a 1st round bye in the playoffs.

The Player's Edge participates in many leagues but elected to
follow a team in a Public League to better approximate what might
be faced by a wide majority of players that use the Edge daily.
This team plays in a standard 5x5 scoring format and drafted 7th
of 12 teams in a 21 round on-line live event in late March. We will
follow this team throughout the entire 2008 fantasy campaign.
