^ -designates an active player on today's roster.

Daily Activity:

Strategy: PE SP's Liriano/Cain/Harden/Weaver +
3 closers will face OP closers Soria and Brian Wilson.
Today's pitching activity should dictate whether a
streaming strategy will need to be employed. PE
is very concerned about W/ERA and controlling at
least 3 offensive categories. PE offense lost Teixeira
and Figgins yesterday hindering any category gains.
Big Tex is due back today while Figgins should return
sometime over the weekend. OP Volstad will not take
a turn on Sunday leaving OP with only 1 start left on
the roster.

Game Keys: OP Nolasco/Halladay combined with
1 closer to hurl 18.1 innings allowing 10 runs on 21
whip with 16 k's. Nolasco registered a W. PE closers
had 2 saves and lead the category by 4. OP offense
kept rolling going 12/36 with 5 runs but only 1 rbi.
PE's shorthanded offense went 5/26 with 4 runs, 3
rbi and 1 stolen base. Heading into the midpoint of
the contest PE continues to trail 6-4 but can gain
ground in W/K with downside risk in ERA/WHIP
as PE has 4 SP's in action today.

Final Thoughts:

PE has won the league and enters the semifinals of the playoffs.

The Player's Edge participates in many leagues but elected to
follow a team in a Public League to better approximate what might
be faced by a wide majority of players that use the Edge daily.
This team plays in a standard 5x5 scoring format and drafted 7th
of 12 teams in a 21 round on-line live event in late March. We will
follow this team throughout the entire 2008 fantasy campaign.
